No Security In Repression Zine

We’re happy to share a new free, downloadable zine coming out of Montreal:

“This zine is an effort that brings together many critically important voices speaking from their own experiences about the repression of social activism that has been taking place at Concordia University in Montreal over the past year. There is a particular focus on the ways that Palestine solidarity work has been attacked, as students are facing draconian administrative tribunals right now. The zine looks at this past year not only in relation to the critically important Palestine solidarity work taking place but also networks of student activism around climate justice and also those opposing recently imposed tuition fee hikes that disproportionately impact racialized students, both out of province and international students. This zine is a window into a local situation at Concordia University in Montreal but is clearly part of a larger reality of repression toward student activism that has been taking place globally. A community publication like this gives an unfiltered and multifaceted take from the grassroots. It is an honour to share it here through Justseeds artists’ cooperative blog, thank you for reading it.” – Stefan Christoff, Nov. 2024.
